All of the second-round ties in both the Men's League Cups A and B have been completed, with winning teams progressing into the quarter finals.

In League Cup A (for Div 1 to Div 3 teams), six Division 1 teams and two Division 2 teams made it through to the quarter finals. Hexham 1 of Division 2 produced the shock of the round beating Tynemouth 3 (3rd-placed in Division 1) by 3-2, and in all-Division 1 clashes there were also narrow 3-2 wins for Northumberland 3 over Chester-le-Street 1, and Eldon Leisure 1 over Primrose 1. Division 1 leaders Northern 3 went through on a walkover, and there were comfortable 5-0 wins for fellow promotion hopefuls Westoe 2 (against Concordia 1 of Division 2) and relegation-threatened Newbiggin 1 (against Consett 1 of Division 3). 4-1 scorelines were recorded by promotion-seeking Newcastle University 2 of Division 1 (against Benwell Hill of Division 2) and Division 2 leaders Sunderland 2 (against Boldon 1 of Division 3).

In League Cup B (for Div 4 to Div 6 teams), six Division 4 teams, one Division 5 team and one Division 6 team are through to the quarter finals. Chester-le-Street 3 of DIvision 5 caused a huge upset by beating cupholders and previously-undefeated Division 4 leaders Primrose 3 by 3-2, and they now meet Eldon Leisure 3 of Division 6, who beat Northern Juniors (also Division 6) by 3-2. In all-Division 4 clashes, Northern 5 narrowly defeated Northumberland Ladies by 3-2, whilst Tynemouth 5 beat Boldon 2 by 4-1. Northern 5 now meet Hexham 2 of Division 4 (who beat Scotezzi of Division 5 by 3-2), whilst Tynemouth 5 now play Consett 2 of DIvision 4 (who narrowly beat Concordia 2 of DIvision 5 by 3-2). Dunston 1 of Division 4 and Walker of Division 6 both progressed on walkovers to play each other in the quarters.

The Ladies' League Cup started with the only 1st round tie on Wed 26th Feb, when Eldon Leisure Ladies beat Tynemouth Ladies 3 by 4-1 in a Division 1 double header, to set up an away tie with Northern Ladies 1A in the quarter final. Tynemouth Ladies 2 (who have been given a quarter final walkover by Primrose Ladies) await the winners of that tie in the semi-final. In the other half of the draw, Northern Ladies 3 play Hexham Ladies in the quarter final, with the winners taking on the 5th-placed Premier team - either Northumberland Ladies or Tynemouth Ladies 1 - in the other semi-final.

The remaining League Cup quarter final ties have yet to be re-scheduled. The Men's and Ladies' Northumbria Cups for the top four Men's and Ladies' teams, along with the League Cup semis and finals, will be held at the Northumberland Club on revised dates to be decided, culminating in the Cup Finals and Presentation Night.
