On Tue 18th Feb, three Division 1 teams are in action, Newcastle University 2 hosting Benwell Hill (Div 2), Tynemouth 3 hosting Hexham 1 (Div 2) and Newbiggin 1 travelling to Consett 1 (Div 3). The following evening, Boldon 1 (Div 3) entertain Division 2 leaders Sunderland 2, with the remaining three ties taking place on Thu 20th Feb, when Eldon Leisure 1 host Primrose 1 in a Division 1 league and cup double header, Division 1 leaders Northern 3 travel to Washington Exiles (Div 2) and Westoe 2 (Div 1) travel to Concordia 1 (Div 2).
In League Cup B (for Div 4 to Div 6 teams), Division 4 promotion contenders Tynemouth 5 and Northern 5 are already through via league and cup double headers, Tynemouth beating Boldon 2 by 4-1 and Northern overcoming Northumberland Ladies by 3-2. There are four ties on Wed 19th, with Division 5 promotion favourites Chester-le-Street 3 hosting Division 4 leaders Primrose 3, and also Hexham 2 (Div 4) v Scotezzi Squash (Div 5), Ashington (Div 4) v Walker (Div 6), and Concordia 2 (Div 5) v Consett 2 (Div 4). The Ladies' League Cup starts with the only 1st round tie on Wed 26th Feb, when Eldon Leisure Ladies entertain Tynemouth Ladies 3 in a Division 1 double header, with the winners at home to Northern Ladies 1A in the quarter final. Tynemouth Ladies 2 (who have been given a quarter final walkover by Primrose Ladies) await the winners of that tie in the semi-final. In the other half of the draw, Northern Ladies 3 play Hexham Ladies in the quarter final (date tbc), with the winners taking on the 5th-placed Premier team - likely to be either Northumberland Ladies or Tynemouth Ladies 1 - in the other semi-final.
