Last-sixteen ties in the Men's League Cup A and B are scheduled to take place during February, with teams seeking to progress into the quarter finals.

In League Cup A (for clubs' highest teams in Divisions 1 to 3), the action started on Wed 9th Feb when Newbiggin 1 travelled to Sunderland 2 for a Division 1 double-header and won 3-2. Newbiggin now face the daunting challenge of a visit to unbeaten Div 1 leaders Northumberland 2 in the quarter finals. Division 3 promotion contenders David Lloyd Sunderland will fancy their chances at home to Division 1 strugglers Northern 3 on Tue 15th Feb, as will Boldon 1 (Div 2)  at home to Tynemouth 3 (bottom of Division 1) on Wed 16th Feb, the winners of that one facing Eldon Leisure 1 in the quarter finals. Also on Wed 16th Feb, Westoe 2 (Div 1) host Division 3 promotion contenders Consett 1, and Hexham 1 (Div 2 leaders) will be looking to surprise visitors Primrose 1 (2nd in Div 1). Still to be arranged is another intriguing Division 1 double header between promotion-chasing rivals Chester-le-Street 1 and Benwell Hill at CLS.

In League Cup B (for clubs' highest teams in Divisions 4 and 5), Northern 5 and leaders Boldon 2 of Div 4, Chester-le-Street 3 (Div 4) and Primrose 4 (Div 5) are already through on byes. Tynemouth Social went down 3-2 at Alnwick on Fri 4th Feb in a Division 5 double header. All the other ties are Div 4 v Div 5. On Tue 15th Feb Consett 2 (Div 4) make the long trip to Newcastle University 3 (Div 5) and Sunderland 4 (Div 4) host Northumberland 5 (Div 5). Finally on Sun 20th Feb Eldon Leisure 3 (Div 4) travel to Northern Juniors (Div 5 leaders) to complete the round.

The Ladies' League Cup starts with the only 1st round tie on Tue 15th Feb, when Tynemouth Ladies 2 entertain Primrose Ladies in a Division 2 double header, with the winners playing Northern Ladies 2 in the semi-final. Northern Ladies 3 take on the 5th-placed Division 1 team - likely to be Northumbria University Ladies - in the other semi-final.

The Men's and Ladies' Northumbria Cups for the top four Men's and Ladies' teams, along with all the League Cup semis and finals, will be held from Mon 9th to Sat 14th May at the Northumberland Club, culminating in the Cup Finals and Presentation Night on Sat 14th May.
