The 2022/23 winter leagues are well underway and approaching the mid-season break, here’s a quick update on how things stand!
Men’s Premier Division - Northumberland 1 and Westoe 1 are currently the stand out teams, with Primrose 1, Benwell and Northumberland 2 making up the bottom 3.
Ladies’ Division 1 - Newcastle Uni Ladies top the table, but with the mid-season division-split looming the last spot in division 1 is up for grabs between Northern Ladies 2 and 3!
Men’s Division 1 - There are no clear front-runners in division 1 with 6 team all within 16 points, while Westoe 2, Hexham 1 and Newbiggin are deep in a relegation battle.
Men’s Division 2 - Boldon 1 and Northumberland 3 look to have all but sealed promotion already! The remaining 7 teams are all relatively close.
Men’s Division 3 - Northern 4 and Boldon 2 occupy the prmotion places, while Tynemouth 4 and Chester-le-Street 2 look to be in relegation trouble!
Men’s Division 4 - Unbeaten Newcastle University 3 lead the way with Northern Juniors close behind. It’s very tight in mid-table, just 7 points seperating 4th from 8th!
Men’s Division 5 - Boldon 4 and Hexham 3 lead the way in division 5, whilethere isn’t much to separate the bottom 4 teams.
