As an innovation in the Men's League, the team finishing third in each division will challenge the team finishing third-bottom in the division above, with an extra promotion / relegation place at stake. These divisional playoffs will be held at Northern FC (all 7pm starts) and the schedule is as follows:

• Tue 25th April: Division 4/5 playoff - Eldon 3 v Tynemouth Social
• Tue 25th April: Division 3/4 playoff - Boldon 3 v Consett 2
• Wed 26th April: Division 2/3 playoff - Eldon 2 v Hexham 2
• Wed 26th April: Division 1/2 playoff - Westoe 2 v Northern 3
• Thu 27th April: Premier/Division 1 playoff - Northumberland 2 v Eldon 1

Please note that under League rules 5.2 and 5.3, in order to be eligible to play in the playoffs, a player must have played at least three team matches for the relevant club during the season, and must not have become tied to a higher team (by playing 'up' for a higher team in more than three league matches in the second half).

The captains of the teams involved have been sent the relevant invitations. All playoff fixtures can be viewed in the attached consolidated fixtures file, and on League Master here.

It should be a great atmosphere at Northern for these playoff matches and all spectators are welcome to attend!
