The Northumberland Club will play host to the Cup Finals and End-of-Season Presentation Night on Saturday 22nd April.

The action starts at 1:15pm with the Ladies' League Cup Final (for Ladies teams outside the top 4) which is an all-Northern affair in which favourites Northern Ladies 2 take on Northern Ladies 3. This is followed at 3pm by the Men's League Cup A and B FInals (for Div 1-3 and Div 4-5 teams respectively). Northern 2 are favourites for League Cup A after knocking out Tynemouth 2 although Division 2 champions Northumberland 3 remain unbeaten in all competitions this season and could run them close. Newcastle University 3 are looking to retain League Cup B but Northern Juniors 1 will hope to push them all the way.

The afternoon is rounded off at 5:30pm with the Men's and Ladies' Northumbria Cup Finals (for the top 4 teams in their respective Leagues) where the Northumberland Club will be looking to win the Men's Northumbria Cup and complete the League and Cup double. However they should face tough opposition in Premier runners-up Westoe, who beat them home and away in the League. Newcastle University Ladies go into the Ladies' Northumbria Cup looking to achieve their own League and Cup double with league runners-up Tynemouth Ladies hoping to upset the odds.

There is normally a great atmosphere for these finals, with free entry throughout and also to the Presentation Night which starts around 8:30pm at the conclusion of the matches. Certificates will be presented to all divisional winners and runners-up and 'players of the division', and trophies and medals to all cup winners and runners-up. The evening will also provide an opportunity to look back on the 2022/23 season and forward to the 2023 Summer League with fellow squash enthusiasts in convivial surroundings.
