Congratulations to Northern and Tynemouth Ladies, who have both won their respective Men's and Ladies' League titles!

In the Men's Premier, Northern 1 comfortably secured their second successive title with 325 points, 61 points clear of second-placed Newcastle University 1. 

Northern's squad of Andrew Shipley and Cai Younger (1st half), Michael Mattimore (2nd half), Alex Robertson, Duncan Rutherford, John and Chris Thompson, Mark Dinsley and Matthew Thompson proved too strong, with Cai, Michael, John, Chris, Mark and Matthew all remaining unbeaten throughout the season, and John finishing as Player of the Division. Newcastle University 1's squad of Liam Gutcher, Fergus Hunt, Yassin Behary, Joe Elliott, Dominic Cox and Angus Robinson had to settle for a second consecutive runners-up spot ahead of the three split-strength Northumberland teams.

In the Ladies' Spring League, Tynemouth Ladies 1 took the Division 1 title with 79 points, 6 points ahead of runners-up Northumberland Ladies 1. The Tynemouth squad of Emily King, Esme Clayton, Emma and Amie Rowell, Dawn Ward and Gill Millington was just good enough, with Emma finishing as Player of the Division over the combined Winter and Spring Leagues.. 

Northern will be favourites to retain the Men's Northumbria Cup, but the Ladies' Northumbria Cup is wide open, with holders (and Winter League champions) Newcastle University Ladies hoping to retain the trophy. The Northumbria Cup Finals will take place on Saturday 9th May at the Northumberland Club (5:30pm start).
