| Report: | Games all played in high spirits.
#1 Eric was unlucky not to pull away in the 1st and take that game. A few crucial rallies were won by Tom which eventually turned the tide.
#2 Tom B dramatically sharpened up as soon as he saw a GoPro being lined up - he was very unlucky that only his unsuccessful flair was recorded!
#3 Nick Hill was business-like and played very consistently particularly choosing the right short-game at the right time.
#4 Andy F had a tough opponent and had to work some hard rallies with lots of pace to get to the finish line first.
#5 Fiona looked the far better player in the first game and seemed a shoe-in for the match. Her length was better and she seemed to always play the right shot at the right time and made the court big for Steve. I missed following games but Steve has done well to change-it-up and find a way to win against an excellent opponent. |
